National Air Duct Cleaners Association (www.nadca.com)
The NADCA sets standards for Air Duct cleaning and Ventilation System Cleaning. These standards are so high the Environmental Protection Agency has issued this statement "Make sure the service provider follows the National Air Duct Cleaning Association's standards. If a service provider fails to follow proper Air Duct Cleaning procedures; such cleaning can cause indoor air problems. A careless or inadequately trained service provider can damage your ducts or HVAC ventilation systems." Service providers certified with NADCA must meet stringent requirements. They must have certified Air System Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) on staff, who have taken and passed the required examination demonstrating extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning procedures. It includes passing the Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration (ACR) training, the most comprehensive training. The ASCS are also Ventilation System Microbial Remediation (VSMR) Certified in response to our high mold concentration in the Houston and Texas region.
Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (www.iicrc.org)
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) is a Certified Non-profit Institute with more than 30 years in experience. Its standards for certification are proof of insurance, providing ongoing seminars, education and training in the proper modes for inspection, cleaning, restoration and removal of water, mold and mildew problems, removing and treating professionally. IICRC recommends using only certified professionals.

Air-Care, Indoor Air Quality Specialists, is an organization which offers the most comprehensive in air duct decontamination and cleaning. Their courses cover the latest procedures in inspection, cleaning and removal of contaminants working toward a purer air quality.

Steam Express also uses the professional services of EMSL Analytical, Inc. for Asbestos, Indoor Air Quality, Industrial Hygiene, Lead, and Materials Testing of any toxic air or substance.
ASCS and VSMR Certified Technicians
Steam Express' staff of technicians are certified as Air System Cleaning Specialists, having extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning procedures, NADCA standards, OSHA Regulations. These fine professionals are also certified in Ventilation System Microbial Remediation for reliability and competence in mold removal and treatment.
